Abintegro, the online career-building website, announces that it has successfully launched a higher education tool-set designed to improve graduate employability, and has signed a contract with Regentís College London which will see students using the tool-set to build CVs and personal development plans (PDPs).
ìOur aim is to help all students and graduates enhance their career prospectsî said Tony Heard, Managing Director of Abintegro. ìOur relationship with Regentís College is an exciting development in our journey and a fantastic opportunity for their students to enhance their career development. It also provides an innovative solution for the College careers service as it delivers its graduate employability objectives.î
Spencer Coles, Director of Marketing & Student Recruitment at Regentís College commented, ìPreparing graduates for the competitive employment market is at the heart of the careers service and Abintegroís unique software provides an ideal solution for high quality CV production and PDPs.î He added ìWe chose Abintegro's solution due to its contemporary interface, flexible set up and its ability to manage students with different levels of experience from undergraduate to MBA. Abintegroís solution will assist communication between academics and the careers service and provide students with a central CV and PDP platform; this, we hope, will alleviate much of the frustration felt by students when different advice is given on the best way to produce a CV and build a PDP.î
The Abintegro tool-set helps students maximise their chances of succeeding in the job selection process with a 3DCV and Grow Planô.
The 3DCV enables students to bring together everything they do throughout their higher education years to gradually build an innovative three-dimensional picture of their student career. They can go beyond the traditional CV and stand out from the crowd by:
- Capturing and articulating their achievements around skills and capabilities considered to be most important by employers when recruiting graduates;
- Having achievements endorsed or validated by the Higher Education Institutionís careers service, its academics or by employers. This means that internship, volunteering or other work experience can be clearly documented and evidenced.
The Grow Planô enables students to build a personal development plan by capturing and tracking goals structured around skills and capabilities. Objectives or learning outcomes can also be pre-populated by the Higher Education Institution, which can then be worked on by the students and their progress recorded.
ìHaving a comprehensive portfolio of achievements from the moment they step out of the higher education environment, and presenting them in a way which really resonates with employers, is a great way to enhance a graduateís career prospectsî Tony concluded.
