23rd July 2009 - Handling Challenging Career Development Conversations with Staff
This interactive workshop is aimed at enabling HR staff to handle career development conversations effectively, thereby providing beneficial, practical guidance for their target audience while also contributing to the ongoing development of the HR team itself;
6th August 2009 - Building Your Coaching Experience
This workshop will provide HR with the tools and techniques required to facilitate discussion through the application of coaching principles. Participants will develop a greater understanding as to how to practically expand their coaching experience.
20th August 2009 - Developing Your Influencing StyleÖIdeas that Really Work!
This highly informative and practical session, based on real life experiences and case-studies, seeks to provide the HR Professional with a toolkit of tips and ideas around developing their personal influencing style.
Of these sessions Melissa Gallagher (Client Partner & Project Manager at HDA) says ìHDA recognizes that today we are operating in an environment where taking ownership of your own career development is crucial to your success. However with large-scale redundancies and significant organsiational changes occurring, it has become harder than ever before for HR professionals to have the opportunity to focus on their own career development. As such we have developed a series of short summer sessions designed to meet the time constraints and career development needs of the UK HR community.î
