It’s not unusual to see 15-20 abilities cited as being “Essential”; no one can believe that this actually makes it possible to find a suitable candidate.

To help with this process we have created a simple form designed to help make the identification & ranking of skills for each role easier and more productive – which you can try for yourself here. When the form is completed a test will be compiled to reflect your particular requirements, you can review the test without any obligation. We aim to provide you with the test in one business day.

How The Manager Works:

  • Choose a skill from 20 most relevant business skills:   Attention to Detail, Data checking, Verbal Reasoning, Logical Thinking, MS Office etc.
  • Confirm whether this skill essential for the role Essential Skill or just desirable?
  • How much of a typical week will this skill be used?  Frequently or only occasionally used?
  • If the candidate doesn’t have the skills level, you are looking for, are you prepared to invest in some training? Some areas such as Word or Excel can be improved with training others such as Reasoning Skills cannot.
