Hasson Associates MD decides not to keep it in the family

Recruitment expert Sinead Hasson got a taste of celebrity life last night when she appeared on the BBC 2 programme ìKeep It In The Familyî

Recruitment expert Sinead Hasson got a taste of celebrity life last night when she appeared on the BBC 2 programme ìKeep It In The Familyî. The series looked at family businesses where the children are unwilling to take over, with last nightís programme featuring her fatherís department store in her home town of Derry, Northern Ireland. Sinead however, couldnít be persuaded and is focussing all her efforts on her recruitment consultancy Hasson Associates.

To celebrate its first successful year in business and support its future growth, Sinead has turned to web experts Boxharry to launch a brand new website for Hasson Associates using their unique SnapperRecruit content management system, which is designed for the recruitment industry.

The consultancy, which specialises in recruitment for the market research sector was set up in January last year by Sinead. The firm has now taken the next step to completely overhaul their website, www.hassonassociates.com and develop a new site that is purpose built to help both candidates and clients with the recruitment process.

Boxharry, who specialise in developing sites for the recruitment industry, built the site using their unique SnapperRecruit content management system (www.SnapperRecruit.com), with hand-picked online recruitment tools to suit the needs of Hasson Associates. The aim was to develop a site that helped candidates find the right vacancies by running effective job searches and to make the process easy with online application tools. They can also profile top jobs and clients, making the recruitment process much more streamlined and straightforward.

As well as the key online recruitment features, the site also incorporates the latest social media tools, including Twitter, which is used as a key business tool to promote vacancies and attract clients. The team, who are based in Soho, will also be tweeting when they spy celebrities passing by, which is already proving popular with many of their celebrity spotting candidates and in particular their recent graduates, an area they plan to grow in the future.

Sinead Hasson said: ìHaving a great website is very important as it is our ìshop frontî and if it looks good more people will come inside and find out more. We wanted the site to show our personality and also help people by making job-hunting less complicated. Keeping in touch with our candidates and appealing to new ones is really important so its interactivity and the links to networking sites were essential.

ìI am delighted with the site. Boxharry have done a great job with the look and feel, and it contains everything we need to help the business move to the next level. The content management system is easy to use so we have full control, which means we can keep it fresh and up-to-date and really communicate with all our clients and candidatesî.
