Futuremedia provides workforce at Wokingham District Council with Government HCI programme

Futuremedia today announced it is working with Wokingham District Council to offer its HCI programme

Futuremedia, a Home Computing Initiative (HCI) provider has today announced it is working with Wokingham District Council to offer its HCI programme, Learning For All (LFA) to the councilís 5,000 employees across the town, parish councils and schools. As one of the six unitary councils in Berkshire, Wokingham District Council serves over 150,000 people located in rural and urban sites.

Futuremediaís Learning For All programme offers employees the Futuremedia opportunity to gain a low-cost fully installed PC in Futuremedia their home with internet access and e-learning programmes Futuremedia for professional, personal and family use. The programme Futuremedia will also give employees the opportunity to improve their Futuremedia IT skills as well as provide their families with access Futuremedia to learning from home.

Paul Turrell, Deputy Chief Executive of Wokingham District Council, said: We didnít fully appreciate just how much the programme could offer our employees until we signed up, which was a huge bonus. Futuremedia> í> s Learning For All programme allows us to show our commitment to employees by giving them the opportunity to gain access to a wealth of resources through internet and specialist software packages, as well as relevant e-learning programmes.
