The finalists for this year’s CIPD People Management Awards have been announced, after another record number of entries. The Awards are the most prestigious in the industry, recognising outstanding and innovative achievements in people management and development.

A winner from each category and an overall winner will be chosen from the shortlist by our expert panel of judges and announced at the Awards dinner on 29 September 2015, which will be held in The Great Room at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane.

Peter Cheese, Chief Executive at the CIPD, commented: “Once again we’ve seen a wealth of game-changing entries this year, with new, innovative programs and initiatives playing an essential role in creating business impact through people.

Workplace agility and performance remain at the heart of today’s business agenda, so it’s great to see so many HR and L&D professionals focussing on these key issues to benefit their organisations and the wider economy. Crucially, these shortlisted organisations have demonstrated best practice approaches with clear measures of success and I congratulate them all.”

Jill Miller, Research Adviser at the CIPD and Awards judge, added: “The quality of the entries this year has been fantastic. The finalists have demonstrated how a sharp business focus on people management and development has made a real difference to their organisations. They’re creating great places to work which attract highly talented people and enable them to perform to their best, and I look forward to celebrating their achievements at our event.”
