Employer branding goes global with new joint venture

Three leading creative recruitment communications agencies spanning three continents have come together to establish a corporation designed to deliver employer branding and employee communications services on the international stage

Three leading creative recruitment communications agencies spanning three continents have come together to establish a corporation designed to deliver employer branding and employee communications services on the international stage.

OneAgent is a company formed by ThirtyThree in the UK, CKR Interactive in the USA and Re.Agent in Australia in a direct response to clientsí growing international needs.

The organisation will combine centralised global account management with local delivery expertise, ensuring that clients benefit from an unparalleled service and profit from economies of scale through global media channels - regardless of where in the world they aim to recruit.

Andrew Young, Chairman of OneAgent and ThirtyThree said:

ìGlobal companies are increasingly looking to present a cohesive and consistent message in their recruitment and employee communications, particularly in areas such as graduate recruitment where there is intense competition for best talent.

ìAt the moment there are few if any genuinely global options in terms of suppliers. The large advertising agencies will point to their international office networks but we know from experience that service quality is inconsistent - and thereís often more conflict than collaboration.î

The organisation already tends to the global needs of Covance, the SR Group and BG Group and Young is enthusiastic about what the partnership has to offer to other companies:

ìOneAgent will offer the flexibility, creativity and responsiveness of a privately owned business but with the research and strategic thinking youíd expect from a big player. The ability to tailor global employer branding initiatives to the needs of the local audience is central to our approach. So much can get lost in translation and the slightest cultural error can do a lot of damage. Thatís why we will also be working with strong agency partners in places like India and China where recruitment practices are very different.î

Natalie Jones - previously an Account Director at TMP - has joined OneAgent as Global Services Director. A marketing campaign focussing on the companyís new website (www.oneagentglobal,com) is underway to raise awareness amongst potential clients and to share knowledge and information on global recruitment trends.

Ms Jones commented:

ìI am really pleased to be leading the development of OneAgent. Itís a genuinely new option for global clients. Iíve seen how difficult it can be to co-ordinate activity in a large, multi-national agency and Iím confident that our more collaborative and client driven approach will appeal.î
