ebsta, the SAAS platform that promotes existing database records to users when reviewing emails and using online tools like LinkedIn, has shown impressive growth in the first half of this year.  The number of people in the company has doubled this year already and with 16 people in the team ebsta have taken on new offices on the 15th floor of Centre Point in Central London. (Employees started this year include Brooke Weinberg – Tester, Andrew Mayne – Developer, Bernhard Peters – Sales manager, Tom Williams – Developer & Ricky Wheeler – Marketing Director).

In the last month, ebsta have signed contracts with Open Systems Technologies, a New York based staffing company, Connected Search, a Boston based company offering search in the high tech and life sciences industries, Trident Search, another Boston based firm offering recruitment services in the healthcare, life sciences, biotech, pharmaceutical and medical device industries, Skilled Careers a Berkshire based agency who operate in the Construction, Property and Engineering industries, and Connect Financial Recruitment, a Milton Keynes based agency that specialise in finance and accountancy recruitment.

ebsta has now been bought by over 55 recruitment companies and is on the desks of more than 5,000 recruiters, including more than 1,000 international desks, with clients in the US, Europe and users across Asia-Pacific and South America.  ebsta plan to open their first international office in the US early next year.

ebsta is a simple toolbar that bridges the gap between your CRM, Outlook, Social Media and the web. ebsta makes recruiters more effective by alerting them to relevant notes in the CRM when reviewing CVs online and helps them identify and qualify opportunities quicker. In addition ebsta’s discreet side panel encourages users to add notes and events to their CRM directly from any web page, document or email. ebsta is integrated with all the main CRM providers in the staffing marketplace.

Guy Rubin, Founder and Managing Director says “I’m really happy with what we have achieved so far. Since its launch back in 2010, ebsta (previously known as Drag&Tag) has evolved so much.  With ebsta, users don’t have to do anything or change their behaviour to get more value from their existing database as ebsta automatically promotes relevant records to the user alongside whatever they are doing online. This approach has led to record CRM usage levels and customers not only getting a great return on investment from our product but also improving the ROI from their existing internal database.”
