As little as several years ago the easiest way to engage the services of a new employee was to place an ad in print media. Today, however, the easiest and cheapest way of recruiting is by advertising job positions on-line.
While not looking to advocate e-recruitment as the sole method of engaging the services of a new employee in this article, it is proving to be the easiest solution in the current recruitment environment.
The piece can be by-lined to Bridget Green, Professional Services HR Director, Capita Group, if preferred, and would also include comment about current trends in e-recruitment, in terms of what percentage of recruitment is conducted through it, and how much it saves a company in terms of both money and time.
The piece could also talk about a Capita software system called SiftAbility, which saves the company the further time by allowing it to set criteria and have the software narrow the candidate list by looking purely at the skills required for the job and comparing it to CVs.
