Danbro, the award-winning specialist accountancy firm for contract and freelance workers, has leant its support to this yearís Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo) membersí conference.
The event, which takes place on Wednesday 7 October, at the Hilton London Tower Bridge hotel, will be attended by managers, directors and consultants involved in the recruitment industry.
Unsurprisingly, the main focus of the event will be the UKís emergence from the recent economic downturn, and what shape any recovery will take. As well as talks from successful entrepreneurs, the day will also include insights into the technology of the future, and a live satellite link-up to the USA, to hear how recruitment firms over there are weathering the storm.
Danbro is sponsoring the eventís drinks reception, which will provide a valuable opportunity for delegates to network, as well as providing light relief after the dayís activities, with Danbro set to provide a caricaturist to produce portraits of willing volunteers.
Danbro managing partner Damian Broughton said: ìThe last year or so has been tough for everyone in the recruitment industry but a lot of companies, including Danbro, have found ways to grow their business and look for new opportunities despite the downturn.
ìThis conference will provide an excellent forum for delegates to share ideas with each other, as well as gain useful insights from the main speakers, and Iím delighted that Danbro could support the event by sponsoring the main drinks reception, which will be a great opportunity for people to chat and network at the end of the event.î
Danbro became an affiliate member of the Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo) in February, and is the only member firm to have received ISO9001:2008 accreditation, which confirms it adheres to an internationally-agreed set of standards for its management systems, and an Investors in People award for the way it looks after the training and development of its staff.
