CWJobs kicks off marketing campaign to grab number one spot in online IT recruitment

In a bid to secure the top spot in online IT recruitment, CWJobs launched a knock-out marketing campaign this week. Consultants around the country will be bombarded with boxing gloves and smelling salts to reinforce the message that CWJobs is the ëNumber One Challenger in IT Recruitmentí. CWJobs aims to increase the number of jobs published on its site to satisfy the 300,000 plus IT jobseekers that search CWJobs every month.

CWJobs has the Number One IT job board position in its sights following huge success in 2003. The company grew job volumes from 5,500 to 13,500 per day - an increase of 145 per cent, which greatly outperformed any other IT job board in the UK. The increase in job volumes coupled with a seven figure spend in marketing to both jobseekers and IT recruiters has seen an increase in unique users of 73 per cent and an increase in applications of 130 per cent.

ìOur vision and determination to be Number One is backed up by a growing audience of IT professionals in the UK that use our jobboard and trust our jobboard,î explained John Salt, operations director at CWJobs. ìThis ensures that our clients generate relevant response quickly, as well as benefiting from our devotion to superior customer service with dedicated account managers, response reports, flexible contracts, training to use our site - and a commitment to be the best IT jobboard in the market.î

In parallel to its recruiter marketing campaign, CWJobs will continue to measure, review and enhance its specialist approach to attracting those IT jobseekers who respond to relevant vacancies quickly and consistently.

CWJobs recruiter marketing campaign will combine direct marketing, viral and advertising promotions and will commence during the week commencing 19th January 2004
