“When we conducted our Global Assessment Barometer survey into the use of psychometric assessment, we promised to donate €1 to Unicef for every response we received,” said Andreas Lohff. “2,776 HR professionals completed our questionnaire. To thank them, we decided to double our donation. We are delighted that these funds will directly help children in southern Africa to gain a quality education.”
Michaela Eugen Albrecht of Unicef said: “We thank cut-e for their generous contribution. This will enable us to provide essential educational materials such as books and pens to around 1,100 children in Africa.”
Guided by Nelson Mandela’s vision that education can transform lives and help advance society, Unicef’s Schools for Africa campaign was founded in 2004, in conjunction with the Nelson Mandela Foundation and the Hamburg Society (now the Peter Krämer Stiftung). It has helped over 30 million children, across 13 African countries, to achieve the dream of an education, by building and furnishing schools, training teachers, providing access to clean water and supplying school materials.
