East Anglian recruitment agency, Cooper Lomaz, is continuing to achieve considerable successes in the region's rapidly developing wind and renewable energy sector since gearing up to operate in this exciting industry just 15 months ago.
The company has just completed one of its most high profile assignments, having recruited the successor to the departing Chief Executive Officer of EEEGR [East of England Energy Group]. The successful candidate is Simon Gray, who until recently held the position of CEO of Wells-next-the-Sea Community Hospital in North Norfolk.
Cooper Lomaz's success in this sector follows on from last summer's assignment for NSEA [Norfolk and Suffolk Energy Alliance] which resulted in the appointment of James Gray as the Inward Investment Director for Energy for the region.
"We are passionate about the rapid development of the renewable energy sector in East Anglia," says Charlotte Cooper from Cooper Lomaz. "We have gathered a very experienced team around us, which places us at the forefront of the search for highly skilled personnel for this new industry."
The Executive Chairman of EEEGR, Alan Barlow is full of praise for the role played by Cooper Lomaz in Simon's appointment: "Cooper Lomaz certainly went the extra mile for us in this most important appointment. In addition to having a clear understanding of the relative merits of candidates, they guided us throughout the process and provided incisive commentary when we were evaluating the final short listed candidates. We would strongly recommend them for handling the most senior of executive appointments."
Other recent successes for Cooper Lomaz has involved the recruitment of the Head of Health and Safety at Gardline, a company that specialises in sea bed surveys, marine contracting and mobile satellite communications, and of a Director at SubSea, a seabed to surface engineering, construction and services contractor to the international offshore energy industry.
