The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Psychological Contract research will be launched at the CIPD Annual Psychology at Work Conference 2004, on 8 December 2004. The research and the conference will focus on the crucial role played by psychology in the workplace in understanding employee attitudes and delivering business performance. Speakers include leading psychological practitioners, experts and senior figures from business. They will use research, personal experiences and organisational case studies to offer a genuine insight into the nature of relationships at work, and demonstrate how good employee relations can help increase productivity. They will also show how the principles of psychology can be used to develop effective leaders and managers, improve teamwork, increase motivation and manage change to ensure improved organisational performance.
