CareerJunction rolls out reseller programme

.

An innovative new programme will put South Africa in the forefront of recruitment trends, and make a major impact on the local online recruitment market.

CareerJunction, a Johnnic eVentures company, has announced an initiative that will give a new slant to traditional methods and services that recruiters and recruitment companies can offer their clients.

CareerJunction is presenting qualified recruitment agencies, recruitment advertisers, response handling agents and human resource solution providers, with the opportunity to apply for Accredited Reseller Status of its online
recruitment applications - a first for the South African recruitment industry.

These applications can then in turn be sold to the qualified resellers client base as an extra value added service, serving as part of a client retention strategy as well as securing additional revenue for that reseller.

The Reseller Programme will offer these accredited companies the opportunity to further incorporate CareerJunctions e-recruitment applications into a
broader service offering that can be presented to their clients as part of a total outsourced staffing solution.

CareerJunction will direct all subscription enquiries from companies, both small businesses and corporates, to accredited resellers. A list of those resellers will be published on the CareerJunction website and updated as new
resellers are added to the list.

Why is CareerJunction forwarding such valuable business and potential revenue to their accredited resellers?

The resellers have a direct relationship with client companies and are in the best position to assist them in choosing the correct package to suit their human resource needs says Kris Jarzebowski, MD of CareerJunction.

Resellers can now offer CareerJunctions online talent procurement tools in tandem with their current traditional recruitment services such as response handling, increasing their value to their clients immensely. It makes business sense that they provide this kind of valuable service to their clients directly.

The result is that CareerJunction will focus on its relationship with resellers, adding value for the established recruitment community rather than competing with it. CareerJunction is well positioned to build on its relationship with its recruiter base while the agent can capitalise on its strengths of providing value added services.

A growing number of companies are already using Internet recruitment advertising to their advantage and are finding that they can leverage the power of their brands to attract top-quality candidates of their own. Companies are also claiming considerable savings in their cost of hire and reporting huge increases in the number of responses that they receive from advertising their job opportunities online.

We have the necessary tools to assist these companies to get results from advertising online, says Jarzebowski.
The channel for distributing our products correctly and efficiently is therefore vested in the capable hands of established players in the human resource market, such as recruitment and HR solution providers.

A recent survey by iLogos (June 2001) indicated that 100% of Top Global Companies will be recruiting online by the end of 2003. In South Africa, the trend to develop an online recruitment strategy may not be as strong, but it
is not far behind either.

More than 20% of white-collar placements in South Africa today are made via the Internet, says Jarzebowski. The provision of an outsourced online recruitment solution can therefore provide certain benefits to both the resellers and their clients.
