Bullhorn research reveals how staffing and recruiting firms transform from good to great

Bullhorn, the global leader in On Demand, front office staffing and recruiting software, today released their latest research report, ìTransform Your Recruiting Practice from Good to Great.î Information gathered from over 600 survey respondents highlights best practices in using candidate sourcing tools and compensation that divide the staffing and recruiting industryís top performers from the laggards. Some of the key best practices revealed in this report include how to become embedded in social networks to source candidates, and using Pay for Performance, with an emphasis on the top performers, as the best way to drive company revenue and profitability. The survey, ìBullhorn Staffing and Recruiting Compensation and Passive Candidate Sourcing Survey,î was sent via email to over 36,000 staffing and recruiting professionals, including retained, permanent placement and contract search. Almost half of all respondents (48.6 percent) hold significant positions in their firms, such as C-level, president, executive vice president or senior vice president.

When top recruiters are looking for new candidates, they are 2 to 1 more likely than their less successful recruiters to go to ZoomInfo.

Top recruiters are taking advantage of connections theyíve built on social networking sites and turning them into bottom-line gains for their firm. Of recruiters at firms that experienced revenue growth of more than 10 percent, 75.3 percent used LinkedIn at least once a day.
Establish yourself as an expert in the space in which you wish to recruit. Build connections by participating in Q&A, commenting on relevant blogs in the space, and joining industry forums.

Top performing firms are concentrating their compensation on their top performers, while less successful firms are overcompensating average employees by about 15 percent.
