The new system is part of a software development project which has enabled Flybe to use Bondís specialist talent management software ñ Bond Talent ñ to develop an online recruitment system within just one week of contracts being signed. Urgency was a vital part of this order to support Flybeís latest recruitment drive and will ensure that candidates are managed with greater efficiency and tracked immediately from initial application.
Flybe is the leading non-London centric airline in the UK and Europeís principal low fare regional airline. Flybe has successfully tailored its fleet specifically to provide value fares and high frequency services for both leisure and business travellers. As such, Flybe employs 1,700 staff and will carry over 5 million customers.
Flybe required an online infrastructure that could support the demands of its latest extensive recruitment drive, initially focusing on the pilot recruitment process. Flybeís previous internal system was not sufficiently equipped to handle the predicted pressure to be placed on it, particularly in the pilot recruitment section. The system that Bond provides tracks each online application received and includes an intuitive recruitment tool to manage all applications more effectively and ensure that candidates are dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Flybeís acquisition of BA Connect will create an enlarged business with over 500m in revenues and carrying nearly 10 million passengers. The business will be operated in line with the successful Flybe business model concentrating on short haul domestic and European major city markets.
