Big fish Recruitment, a niche consultancy specialising in marketing, creative and PR recruitment, has unveiled a distinctive new brand identity to ensure attraction of the best talent in a candidate short market.
The new brand identity is a response to the current velocity of UK marketing recruitment and will be crucial for the business to maximise their employment brand and attract skilled professionals as the competition for talent in the marketing communications sector intensifies.
Launched on 4th February, the re-brand presents a new contemporary design and attitude to help differentiate the agency from the competition and make the brand more relevant to its customers.
The re-branding has been supported by the launch of a new recruitment website (www.bigfishrecruitment.com) to help attract more skilled candidates to the agency and also promote the high volume of client recruitment requirements.
The website has a vibrant new look and a host of improved features and innovative functionality for job seekers and recruiters. The site covers every sector and discipline within marketing communications including advertising, marketing, design, digital, PR and sales, with the latest job opportunities arranged into sector specific job pages - reflecting Big fishís specialist approach to recruitment.
To create more emotional connection with the consumer, the updated brand identity and website also introduces new photography which was the result of a unique candidate photoshoot competition organised by Big fish towards the end of 2007. Big fish abandoned the conventional method of using ìprofessional modelsî in the photoshoot by casting genuine job seekers from the marketing & creative industry.
The photoshoot was held at the Manchester city centre studio of award-winning photographer, Jonathon Oakes, who applied a Modern Portrait style of photography to communicate friendliness and approachability in the images.
Commenting on the new brand campaign, Carl Freelove, Marketing Manager at Big fish, said: ëThe candidate shortage is having a profound effect on marketing recruitment. As a result, we have relied more heavily on promoting our brand values to recruit skilled professionals. We are delighted with the fresh new brand identity and website. We wanted to create a vibrant brand which communicated more directly what we are all about and to help distinguish us from our competitorsí.
Carl also adds ëThe fresh new brand identity and style of photography compliments our business ethics, personality, values and tone of voice and epitomises the characters from the creative industry in which we recruití.
The new brand identity has been developed by Clarity, a boutique creative branding agency based in Buckinghamshire.
Some of the UKís leading companies and marketing agencies that recruit through Big fish, include Tribal Resourcing, McCann-Erickson, Porter Novelli, The Marketing Store, Next Directory, Cadbury Trebor Bassett, Whitbread and Alton Towers.
