Anteo Group UK has been training its staff with the Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis; a course run by the Information Systems Examinations Board (ISEB), a division of the British Computer Society. The course covers key areas of business analysis and Mike Smith, Sales Director of Anteo Group UK said, ìThe advantage of undertaking the course is to allow us to speak the same ëlanguageí as our managers - the difference is that they deliver software, whereas we deliver people. This will give us greater credibility and allow us to get a deeper understanding of their needs.î

Now, more than ever, it is imperative to have a fully trained and knowledgeable workforce on hand to see you through these tough times and there could not be a better time to invest in staff training programmes; ìIt keeps the company morale up in a time when the majority of our competitors are letting staff go as well as cutting training budgets. Also, business is much more difficult in a recession and you need your team to be on top of their game - training helps achieve this.î said Mike Smith.

Anteo Group UK has already started seeing the effect of their staff training. The training has added another string to their bow and as such they are a more complete salesperson – confidence in their own ability is sky high, ready to deal with the jobseekers and the employers.

Next on the list, Anteo Group UK is considering investing further into training his staff and is planning on continuing with the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) diploma.
