And the survey says....Keep it simple

Enable Software has introduced a simple-to-use web-hosted survey process - Survey Fusion - aimed specifically at HR managers.

The software is an extension of its tried and tested Fusion range of products used by Sage Software, Goldman Sachs and Delphi Automotive amongst others.

Letís face it, weíre in the era of the survey: there are two levels - the considered, in-depth survey, the findings of which will never see the light of day in the public arena - and the survey thatís designed to generate publicity, said Andrew Butt, 21, Managing Director of Enable Software.

The challenge is creating a survey thatís easy to complete, easy to administer and fast and easy to extract accurate information from. Thatís what weíve done with Survey Fusion - this is a product that can be operated by anyone; there is no need to be saddling the IT department with work it does not have time to do.

The ícustomerí - defined as anybody internal or external to a business or organisation who has to be sold an idea, a concept or a tangible item - is fanatically fickle. It is crucial that the provider gets things right - the provider will only get it right by asking the right questions and creating the product or service thatís really desired.

The problem is that customer needs move on so quickly that the results and interpretation have to be almost instantaneous: weíve built that in too.

The way Survey Fusion works is that a user will click onto Survey Fusion from either the company website or intranet and fill out the survey as directed. The software identifies the individual completing the survey to ensure he or she completes the survey only once.

There is no way the poll can be rigged. The administrator of the survey can at any time analyse the results that are automatically presented to him in real time. There is no delay.

To create another survey, an administrator can click on the Manage Survey icon and create either a simple or more complex survey within minutes.

Survey Fusion allows administrators to create multiple choice questions with radio buttons, questions with a drop down menu, simple yes/no questions and many more, thus allowing the author to construct the survey he/she requires.
