Adicio, today announced a new ìreverse publishingî feature to Adicio Careers 7.0. Reverse publication presents advertisers who are posting ads online with an option to also place their ad in print, giving online and print the opportunity to work in tandem.
With more job listings being placed online, Adicio has solved the problem of how to leverage advertising content entered online and integrate it into legacy systems for print publication. Adicioís Reverse Publishing feature is an integrated print and online solution, which allows the advertisers to post an employment ad online and in print in one seamless transaction.
ìReverse publishing helps publications give additional value to their online advertisers by offering them an automated way to supplement their online job listing with a print ad,î says Travis Fisher, General Manager, Careers, Adicio. ìThis will simplify the process of posting an ad online and in print with one simple transaction; it also will provide an opportunity for our clients to earn additional revenue through online and print ad bundled packages.î
When Adicio client advertisers want to post an online ad, they will also be given the option to place the ad in print. If they choose to include a print ad in addition to the online ad, additional fields appear on the job posting page that define the print ad, including client soft keys, print classifications and descriptions based on client specifications and limits. A separate required field for contact information has been added so clients donít have to call to get proper contact information. Once an advertiser purchases the print ad, Adicio generates a file that is dropped to an ftp box for the client to pick up and import into their print ad system.
Reverse Publishing Beta clients have experienced as much as a 40% uplift from online to print, helping supplement their print revenue. The Reverse Publishing upsell typically represents $50 to $100 in increased revenue per ad.
Adicio provides its job platform software to over 200 publishing and media clients, including the San Diego Union Tribune, New York Post, The Wall Street Journal, Seattle Times, Adweek, Billboard, ComputerWorld, and Variety.
To see a live demonstration of Adicioís job, automotive and real estate software platforms, visit Booth 219 at The Folio Show, September 24-26 in New York.
