Recent research revealed that 55% of Association of Graduate Recruiters (AGR) members were concerned about failing to hit their 2007 Graduate Scheme targets

Recent research(1) revealed that 55% of Association of Graduate Recruiters (AGR) members were concerned about failing to hit their 2007 Graduate Scheme targets.

GRADdirect is an innovative suite of interactive tools launched by Reed Consulting to help recruiters accurately target up to 150,000 registered graduates on the UKís leading job site reed.co.uk.

Recruiters using GRADdirect can apply specific search criteria so that their communication is precisely targeted at graduates whose skills match their requirements.

Mark Milner, Head of Graduate Recruitment at Reed Consulting, explained the thinking behind the launch: With graduate vacancies predicted to rise for a fourth consecutive year, the challenge for recruiters trying to attract the right number of suitable candidates looks set to continue.

Using GRADdirect, these recruiters can now run integrated attraction or stand alone campaigns to help them overcome the obstacles posed by a lack of suitably qualified applicants, geographical issues and limited marketing and budget resources.

Barclays, Royal Mail, HSBC, Sainsburyís, Transport for London and Clarks are already utilising one or more of the tools incorporated within the GRADdirect suite, which includes a branded micro-site on reed.co.uk, where over a quarter of the 150,000 registered graduate job seekers graduated in 2006.

Other options available to recruiters within GRADdirect are branded email campaigns, inclusion in a fortnightly email newsletter reaching 150,000 registered graduate candidates, as well as an SMS alert service, e-shots, e-surveys, web/audio casts and web design options.
