2019: Which advertising channels are the UK’s best for candidate attraction?

For the fourth year running, the UK Candidate Attraction Survey 2019 is now open to in-house recruiters and recruitment agencies.

The UK Candidate Attraction survey has launched today in association with HR Grapevine. The survey looks at the activities, challenges and successes across the recruitment landscape to identify which candidate sourcing channels are performing best within each industry and sector.

Results of the survey are made available as a free report using easy to read quadrants that look in detail at sourcing channels such as job boards, career sites and social media. The aim is to find the channels most likely to provide the right number of suitable candidates to ensure successful hiring campaigns.

All recruitment teams are invited to take part in this year’s survey and receive a copy of the report as soon as it is published as well as enter the prize draw for £250 Amazon vouchers.

Last year over 850 recruitment professionals took part to reveal some interesting findings that differed by sector. Key findings from 2018 include:

  • Candidate scarcity remained the number one challenge
  • Ability to accurately measure sourcing channels remains low
  • Employee referrals are consistently cited as the top channel for candidate quality
  • Lack of brand awareness is a crucial challenge for many acquisition teams
The full list is still available in last years 70-page report
