Eilish Henson, HR Manager, Wood Mackenzie

Eilish has earned her HR credentials with a 10 year career at Wood Mackenzie, a leading global Energy Research & Consulting firm headquartered in Edinburgh.  Having provided a full range of generalist services to the UK business (including recruitment, employee relations and Learning & Development), Eilish spent 15 months in the Company's Singapore and Sydney offices establishing the HR function for theAsia Pacific region.  She now runs the HR practices in Europe & Asia Pacific, as well as maintaining a remit for the global resourcing and employer branding strategies.  Recently,Eilish has project managed the re-development of the corporate careers website and the implementation of an online applicant tracking system.  She holds a BA (Hons) degree in Psychology from Trinity College Dublin, a PG Dip in Human Resource Management, and is CIPD qualified.


Matt Alder, Founder and Futurologist at MetaShift

Matt Alder is the founder of strategic consultancy MetaShift  and  has  spent the last thirteen years working within the Internet space. He became  involved in online recruitment twelve years ago, spending seven years  as Head of Interactive Media with TMP Worldwide followed by three years  as Head of Digital at Penna Barkers. At MetaShift Matt works with a number of high profile employers to help them get the most value out of their digital recruitment strategy and introduce social channels into their businesses. Matt is passionate about innovation and has a strong interest in how  the digital revolution is changing the way companies communicate. He has  written and spoken extensively on the future of recruitment and is a highly respected blogger with an international audience. Laura Stoker, Executive Director of Global Training, AIRS

Laura Stoker began her recruiting career as a researcher for executive search firms working on international and domestic projects. She has also worked as a Recruiter for J.D. Edwards in Denver, Colorado and as a Technical Recruiter for EMDS in Brussels, Belgium. She has been using AIRS techniques since she attended one of our first training classes in 1997 and now enjoys teaching the same knowledge to a new generation of Internet Recruiters.


Jeff Chang, Senior Associate, Osborne Clarke

Jeff is a Senior Associate within the Business Transactions Group and has experience of a broad range of corporate work. He acts for companies and financial institutions of all sizes, from entrepreneurs through to some of the largest companies operating in the Thames Valley region and beyond. His corporate work includes acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures and private equity deals. He has handled transactions across a broad range of industry sectors including in particular technology, media, construction and life sciences and currently heads up the online recruitment initiative at Osborne Clarke. Jeff qualified in 2002 and is based at the firm's Thames Valley Office.


Kerry Viner, Solicitor, Osborne Clarke

Kerry is a solicitor in Osborne Clarke's recruitment sector practice. Kerry is based in London and specialises in advising end users and recruitment companies on all aspects of the recruitment process, payroll outsourcing and HR outsourcing. She also advises on the regulatory issues faced by recruitment businesses and tax issues relating to temporary and contract staff. Kerry joined Osborne Clarke in 2010. Kerry has been involved in consultations with the UK Government about employment legislation affecting the use of temporary and contract staff.


Matthew Briggs, Senior Associate, Osborne Clarke

Matthew is a Senior Associate based in Osborne Clarke's London office and primarily acts for technology and telecoms clients, as well as those in the recruitment sector. He advises his clients on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment and HR matters, ranging from TUPE in the context of managed services, business protection issues including restraint of trade and the use of social media, Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation, the dismissal of senior executives, disciplinary and grievance processes and discrimination. Matthew spent 10 months seconded to Dell's in-house legal team in the role of EMEA Employment Counsel. Matthew qualified as a solicitor in 2002 and has appeared as an advocate at Tribunal level. He joined Osborne Clarke in January 2007.

Alex Kozloff, Senior Mobile Manager, IAB

Alex is currently Senior Mobile Manager at the IAB, the trade body that represents digital advertising in the UK. Her role is to help drive the IAB's strategy in the mobile arena, particularly through driving research essential to educate and inform the market. Prior to this she was Media Research Manager at Unanimis, which she joined as part of France Telecom's acquisition of the network. Previous to this she spent two years at Orange overseeing media research, both online and mobile. As part of this role, she ran mobile research projects such as Exposure 2- a quantitative study looking at consumer attitudes and usage of mobile media. Earlier in her career, Alex cut her media teeth at IPG owned media agency Initiative.


Felix Wetzel, Group Marketing Director, Jobsite

As Group Marketing Director of Jobsite, Felix Wetzel is responsible for the brand innovation and development of the group and all entities within its portfolio. He has overseen the Jobsite brand journey since 1999 and was most recently responsible for initiatives including the UK's largest ever recruitment advertising campaign (2008) which saw Jobsite on TV for the first time, and the integration of new media platforms such as Jobs-by-Twitter services and smartphone apps. Felix is also an established speaker and blogger in the area of digital marketing, social media and online recruitment, and a qualified NLP Practitioner. Prior to joining Jobsite, Felix held both marketing and journalism roles for brands including Phillipp Morris, Beiersdorf, AutoScout 24, HypoVereinsbank, and Vh1, as well as several regional media organisations in Germany. He holds a MSc in Marketing from The University of Glamorgan and a DipM from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He is also recognised as Member, Chartered Institute of Marketing.
