The strength of the UK hospitality market was given a boost today with the announcement that leading hospitality recruiter Berkeley Scott has launched an internal recruitment drive.
Mark Darby, Managing Director explains that “our parent company has secured funding and they want to invest that in our people. The opportunities that we are seeing across the hospitality and leisure industry are vast and we want to capitalise on them”
Berkeley Scott are looking to grow their headcount by 50% this year, which is welcomed news for an industry based on employment and hospitality – two of the hardest hit over the recession.
The growth is also spread across the hospitality sector “we are looking for temporary consultants for our volume temp business but we are also looking to recruit a number of senior appointment consultants – this is an area of serious growth for us and we have the funds to bring the best consultants on board”
Berkeley Scott has also updated their incentive schemes and benefits packages in order to attract the best people. “We’ll be looking to bring on experienced sales people, existing recruitment professionals and people from within the hospitality industry; an eclectic mix to guarantee success” says Darby.
