BAA, the airport operator, has confirmed to the REC that following a successful trial period, recruitment firms are now eligible to join its ID scheme for staffing suppliers.
The trial period saw extensive input from the REC and has resulted in a document containing clear rules that an agency must adhere to.
Commenting on the scheme, Anita Holbrow, Director of Marketing and Member Representation said:
“Previously, a contract for services had to be submitted; now, however BAA will accept a contract for labour/staff.
“This is quite a significant milestone in the history of BAA, and will no doubt improve business immensely for REC members.”
