KPSS, The global salon brand launches its new recruitment portal

KPSS Ltd, the leading hair and beauty experts has partnered with recruitment platform MyPeopleBiz, to develop its new recruitment portal. The partnership is aimed at further improving the KPSS employer brand as well as improving the recruitment function and managing the overall cost

KPSS Ltd, the leading hair and beauty experts has partnered with recruitment platform MyPeopleBiz, to develop its new recruitment portal. The partnership is aimed at further improving the KPSS employer brand as well as improving the recruitment function and managing the overall cost.


The association between the two companies began 18 months ago when MyPeopleBiz started working with KPSS, assisting them with their recruitment strategy and providing additional resource to HR as and when required.


KPSS Ltd own a number of household brands including “salon exclusive” Goldwell and KMS California; each has its own unique image and personality. To reflect these specifications MyPeopleBiz have developed a fully bespoke recruitment portal that is accessible through the KPSS corporate site and will benefit from the latest functionality including parsing technology for easier CV search and registration.


KPSS will now be able to use their new recruitment portal as a 'one stop shop' to attract direct candidates, have the ability to talent pool, creating talent databases and referral schemes to tap into the growth of social media; in addition to managing all their agency suppliers.


The new functionality will allow KPSS to upload thousands of candidate details currently held in many different places, to their own searchable talent database which will mean that they can recruit from their talent pool without incurring any additional costs. Although KPSS have multiple branding, with MyPeopleBiz they can still achieve a holistic approach to their recruitment.


Ian Hicks, HR Director at KPSS Ltd said MyPeopleBiz works with KPSS to gain access to social media networks to attract those candidates that are unreachable through more conventional methods of recruitment. The MyPeopleBiz team communicates and magnifies the KPSS message to a significantly larger audience. Additionally, our portal will allow us to instantly communicate our job opportunities with our followers on Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook. Also, an additional advantage to the service MyPeopleBiz provides is that from our perspective, although having always been interested in using social media, as our resources, which similar to most companies are stretched, MyPeopleBiz are taking care of this on our behalf. The other benefits of using MyPeopleBiz are that I can decide on a vacancy by vacancy basis to have additional support of initial screening of response and managing the process which again is useful at times when you are stretched.”
