GetZeN Launches to Transform Workplace Mental Health and Wellbeing

Unique platform combines data with human insight to create happier, healthier workplaces

  • GetZeN’s unique human insights product ‘How are You?’ ensures employees’ needs are properly heard
  • New platform offers a more diverse range of therapies than any other service
  • Since June 2020 the company has been working with 20 companies including Warner Music and Lloyds Bank

British work wellness start-up GetZeN has launched today, bringing its unique mental health and wellbeing platform to organisations across the UK. GetZeN blends a class-leading technology platform with perceptive human insight to deliver the most appropriate and impactful mental health & wellbeing programmes. The company’s data shows that this results in happier, healthier, and more productive employees who work with increased creativity and connection.

Unique platform

GetZeN’s platform provides employers with a new way of listening to their employees. Unlike performance reviews and engagement surveys, it delivers both data and human insight to organisations so they can better understand the needs of their people. The company’s unique human insights product ‘How are you?’ ensures employees are properly heard, in confidence, and nothing is ever assumed. Based on this data and insights, GetZeN then offers over 50 mental health and wellbeing therapies - from counselling and psychotherapy to lunchtime learning sessions and Reiki healing, targeted to an individual's specific preferences and needs.

Measurable results

Using ‘How Are You?’ GetZeN uncovers organisational challenges to measure and monitor changes in feelings and improvements against key indicators including productivity, performance, team connection, creativity and communication.

Since June 2020 GetZeN has been working with 20 companies from start-ups to large corporates to deliver highly targeted and transformative wellness programmes delivered by expert practitioners.

GetZeN is a Cloud Native application which has been developed using the latest serverless technology. This not only enables GetZeN to provide a solution which is both intuitive and secure, but also enables the company to scale effortlessly in this growing marketplace.

The GetZeN story

GetZeN was founded in February 2020 by Counsellor & Psychotherapist, Francesca Rogers MBACP (Accred) and Group Meditation Facilitator and Reiki Master and Healer Katy Holliday. GetZeN was born from their decades of experience both as mental health practitioners and from working in large corporations to address the widespread disconnect between the workplace wellness solutions employers think their people need versus what their employees actually need.

To date the company has raised £320,000 in pre-seed funding in a round which closed in June 2022.

Katy Holliday, Founder and CEO at GetZeN said: “We are thrilled to be able to bring our platform to a wider audience and extend the positive impact GetZeN has on organisations and their employees.”

Lianne Frost, Benefits Manager and Mental Health Lead at Warner Music said: Here at Warner Music we really appreciate the vast knowledge and also the adaptability GetZeN provides us, from mental health support to kombucha! We’re looking forward to working together in the future as they embark on their new platform launch.”

Jidé Maduako, CEO of Yoke Network said: "As a high growth company with a young workforce, wellness is a strategic priority for the culture of our business. We partner with GetZeN to benefit from their employee insight, varied wellness programmes and their measurement around connection, communication and employee productivity. We've been extremely happy with the results; where team members have not only benefited from immersive experiences, talks and workshops but also actively applied new approaches to their work life. We've been really pleased with the outcomes so far and will continue to work with GetZeN."
