4MAT is pleased to announce the start of a new website development project for RWE npower. The project will use 4MAT’s recruitment-focused DV3 website platform to create a dynamic career website platform and content management system for RWE npower.

RWE npower, an integrated energy company, offers a diverse number of roles across its businesses in power stations, contact centres, offices and customer facing teams, as well as Graduate and Apprentice training schemes.  Using 4MAT’s extensive experience of recruitment website design, the new career website and graduate recruitment site will offer a much more interactive experience, with the ability to target content and vacancies at individual visitors.

The latest advances in recruitment website design and functionality will be focused on providing the visitor with a truly personal experience. The new websites will be designed to increase candidate attraction through enhanced levels of engagement, including blogs and video clips. Advanced search engine optimisation and social media integration will be key drivers for raising awareness of vacancies and ultimately increasing the number of relevant applications.

4MAT’s experience in integrating with recruitment and applicant tracking systems (ATS) will provide RWE npower with a career website with improved vacancy search engine optimisation and targeted content, based on research undertaken with RWE npower’s target audience.

Adam Templeman, Resourcing Manager at RWE npower says ‘This project gives RWE npower the opportunity to engage with potential employees at a level that we have not experienced before. We wanted to move away from the traditional ‘vacancy board’ and create a interactive careers website. This new development should improve the candidate’s knowledge of our business and the roles available, giving them an enhanced experience throughout the recruitment process.’

David Johnston, Corporate Web Consultant at 4MAT goes on to say, ‘This is an exciting step for RWE npower and also for corporate career websites in general. This fully integrated approach will move away from the traditional career website brochure and ATS web portal, to a website focused around visitor behaviour and engagement, with content and vacancies personalised based on the user. This new career website will provide RWE npower with a definite advantage in attracting potential employees’.
