Gareth Lloyd has joined exec-appointments.com as Chief Operating Officer.

Gareth, who was head of strategy and technology at Adcorp in Australia, will be in charge of day-to-day operations, as well as developing exec-appointments' expansion into new markets and services.

He said: "exec-appointments is just the sort of company and environment I was looking for, working with business owners who make things happen quickly. The business is already the best in its sector and has great momentum. I had used the service before I joined and was already an advocate for the exec-appointments site, so it's a great opportunity to now be part of the success story.

"It's important with today's candidate shortage that companies are willing to look globally for new members of staff and exec-appointments really does enable that. I applied for this job online from Sydney and we conducted the interviews online, through video conference and email."

Gareth trained as a lawyer and a chartered accountant. Before joining Adcorp, he spent several years working for Deloitte advising companies on a range of issues, from market entry strategy through to new product development.
