UBS and LSE Executive Education (based at the London School of Economics and Political Science) have partnered to launch UBS Career Comeback. The programme is aimed at professionals with a minimum of five years experience, (preferably in financial services) who, after an 18-month to seven year career break, would like help in transitioning back into the workforce. A degree is required as a minimum qualification (a masters or MBA is preferred).
The programme will be held from March 12-14, 2008 at The London School of Economics and UBS. The selective course is offered free of charge to participants and includes:
- Important business updates from leading professors in finance, marketing, technology and strategy
- Professional one-to-one coaching
- An overview of the current regulatory environment
- Development of a personal action plan for re-entering the workforce
- Networking with other returnees and UBS employees
