Barclays Corporate & Employer Solutions (C&ES) celebrated the official launch of its Global Stock & Reward Services offering at an event for key strategic partners, held in London.
The formal launch follows the announcement at the end of 2012 that Barclays C&ES has signed an agreement with Solium Capital Inc. to create a white-label version of the Solium Shareworks™ platform and administration services for clients, a key development in the evolution of its Global Stock & Reward Services offering. At the same time, it announced that Barclays Group has appointed Barclays C&ES as administrator of its own global equity and long term incentive plans, allowing Barclays employees to benefit from this market leading service based on the Shareworks platform.
Attendees at the event were hosted by members of the Barclays team led by Chris Mowatt, Elaine Graham and Aynsley Vaughan, and heard how Barclays has invested significantly over the past year to build its capabilities in this area, which now include stock and cash plan administration; trustee services; participant dealing and nominee services; corporate dealing and custody; and financial and regulatory reporting.
