Advanced launches cloud-based HR solution with integrated payroll services

Hosted solution tailored for SMEs can be deployed within a week

Advanced Business Solutions (Advanced), the market leading business applications and service provider, today announces the launch of a new cloud-based version of its established HR solution, OpenHR.

The hosted system has been specifically developed for smaller organisations with 50 employees or more and is a packaged set of functionality which can be deployed in less than a week. The solution can also be integrated to Advanced’s established payroll bureau service based on OpenPeople if required.

SMEs can now access Advanced’s leading HR technology for a consistent, affordable subscription fee and rapidly view and process essential employee information from any device remotely. As the system is flexible and scalable, businesses can add or remove users quickly and easily to alleviate the need to maintain in-house systems.

The cloud solution’s comprehensive functionality includes personnel, reporting, templated workflows and integration to Advanced’s payroll bureau service to eliminate inaccurate spreadsheets and data entry errors. The recruitment, performance management and absenteeism modules enable businesses to better monitor the development of employees and accurately calculate the financial impact of staff absence.

Paper-based and inefficient manual administrative tasks are further streamlined by providing employee self-service. Staff can book holidays, request a training course and change personal details, further reducing costs and increasing productivity through improved process visibility.

Simon Fowler, Managing Director of Advanced Business Solutions (Commercial division) says, “Effective people management forms the cornerstone of a profitable and successful business. Our OpenHR cloud solution complements our payroll bureau service and is affordable and quick to deploy, making it ideally suited to organisations who do not have the resources to purchase a new system or manage their payroll in-house.

“In addition to transforming efficiency by allowing personnel information to be securely accessed from anywhere, the system is fully compliant with RTI and pension auto enrolment legislation. This provides HR professionals with the peace of mind to focus on more value-added and innovative projects.”

The system’s flexible upgrade path has been tailored for expanding businesses, or those wishing to move from their existing HR or payroll solution, replacing the need to commit to upfront IT capital and associated maintenance costs. The cloud solution is also hosted in Advanced’s secure UK-based data centre, which is fully compliant with Government EU data requirements.

The cloud-based version of OpenHR will be launched at Advanced’s annual customer conference, ‘Advanced World - Facing the Future’, which will be held at the Business Design Centre in London on 5th November 2015. For further information, please click here
