The largest HR Transformation Conference in Europe is set to take place next month when HRO World Europe opens in Brussels on November 7th.

The conference is expected to attract more than 350 senior executives and human resources professionals from 20 countries across Europe. Its size makes it one of the largest gatherings of HR experts to take place each year outside the US.

This year's conference takes the theme of 'future-proofing' and will examine the lessons learned during the last decade when the human resources market has begun to reach full maturity. It will also provide a leading forum for the exchange of views and advice on how best to maximize return from the HR outsourcing = trends of the future.

As Luca Segantini of conference organizers, SharedXpertise, explains, "HR outsourcing has gone through some huge learning curves during the past 5 to 7 years and the pace of change in IT, knowledge management and even issues such as governance, has been exceptional. Only this year we saw the biggest HR transformation deal ever in the world with Unilever's 'One Unilever' global transformation.

"However, we are now entering a period where professionals on both sides want to consolidate their knowledge and this year's conference is aimed at revealing the best and the worst, both of what's been and what's to come. This 'critical mass' effect is important in a marketplace that is still reasonably new and also so fragmented. There is no other comparable opportunity for industry professionals to share ideas and knowledge so widely and yet so efficiently."

A series of tailor-made workshops will take place the day before the conference starts. The dedicated workshop program is aimed specifically at the needs and interests of HRO buyers. (Limited places still available).
