Glassdoor names John Lamphiere VP & Managing Director, EMEA

John Brings Over 25 Years Experience in Sales, General Management and Leadership with Quantcast, Facebook and Yahoo

Glassdoor, one of the world’s largest job and recruiting sites, today announced John Lamphiere has joined the company as VP & Managing Director for the EMEA region, based in the international headquarters in Dublin. He is responsible for the strategy, vision, and management of Glassdoor's EMEA business.

Lamphiere brings nearly 30 years of experience in sales having worked for some of the largest global technology companies. He joins from Quantcast, where he was Managing Director of Quantcast International HQ in Dublin and Director of the Global SMB business. In this role, he was responsible for growth, forecasting, planning, implementation and execution, reporting and compliance across all sales, operations, finance and support teams internationally. He was previously International Corporate Sales and Operations Director and prior to joining Quantcast was a Regional Director for UK and Ireland at Facebook, as well as being the Global Director of dating partnerships and sales. Before joining Facebook, Lamphiere was at Yahoo for two years as Head of Sales, leading Yahoo’s sales and account management teams with responsibility for display media sales across EMEA.

The UK site now sees five million visits per month, plus an additional 1.1 million for Germany and 1 million for France3. Glassdoor helps a diverse and growing set of companies recruit across EMEA, with employer clients including

Glassdoor has recently moved to new offices in Dublin and is also due to move to new premises in London later this month. The Dublin International HQ is now at The Greenway on St Stephens Green. This is a high-spec co-working space just recently fitted out by Kingston Lafferty Design. The London team will be moving to Notcutt House, a co-working space in Southwark from The Boutique Workplace Company. Glassdoor is also actively hiring in Dublin.
