Innovate CV the new-generation global CV platform has appointed Jim Knight, Rt Hon Lord Knight of Weymouth, Shadow Employment Minister, as its Associate Director, to support the company’s rapid growth since its successful launch in March.
Lord Knight was the longest serving Schools Minister in the last Labour government, as well as serving as Rural Affairs Minister and Employment Minister. He attended weekly Cabinet in the year running up to the 2010 General Election, and was made a life peer in the Dissolution Honours List after the election. Lord Knight’s main policy interests are education, employment, skills and digital technology. He now has a role as Shadow Employment Minister in the House of Lords, as well as being an integral part of the Board of Directors at Innovate CV.
