Brazil Conference & Exhibition 2011

Sao Paulo, Brazil, 16th May 2011

Online recruitment is well established in Brazil. The Onrec conference will bring together the latest thinking in international online recruitment along with local expertise.

This event is for HR directors and recruiters based in Brazil as well as international colleagues keen to learn more about this vibrant expanding market and how online recruitment is developing in the region

Brazil's economy has been growing vigorously in recent years , the latest figures released by  the Brazillain government have confirmed this with gross domestic product growing to 7.5% in 2010. Figures released in 2010 showed that more than 960,000 jobs were created in the formal sector between January and April – the highest number since records began. Labour and employment minister Carlos Lupi predicted 2.5 million formal-sector jobs would be created in 2010.

Onrec.com founder and conference chairman says “I am looking forward to onrec.com’s first conference in Brazil. It’s the first time we have held a conference in South America , although over the years I have met a number of key players through our annual conferences in the US. It will be an honour to host the conference and facilitate the discussions. With the Brazillian recruitment market dynamics of job creation, internet penetration and falling unemployment I expect companies will need to recruit employees in the quickest, cheapest and fastest ways possible. With that in mind, we have a great line up of speakers who will be sharing their expertise and knowledge of online recruitment and use of social media in recruitment ”
