Award winning financial services company, Hargreaves Lansdown, have been shortlisted for a duo of Tech Hero Awards, including Best IT Team and Best IT Worker.

The Bristol-based company’s IT roles are supplied exclusively by Opus Recruitment Solutions, a neighbouring specialist recruitment firm with offices in Bristol (HQ), London, Sydney and Amsterdam.

Only a month previously, Opus landed their own employee award making it onto The Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work for 2015. In addition to this, Opus have been shortlisted as one of Bristol’s Happiest Workplaces.

The Tech Hero Award winners will be decided through a voting system, which you can access at www.theinquirer.net. The winners will be announced at The Inquirer Tech Hero Awards event in London on 19th May 2015.

Opus have been working exclusively on roles with the financial services company more recently and Hargreaves Lansdown have already seen a drastic improvement with new hires, particularly on the Cobol side of their IT roles.

CEO of Opus Recruitment Solutions, Darren Ryemill, commented, “We’re really excited about Hargreaves Lansdown’s nominations. They have a great company culture and it is refreshing to see them being recognised in aspects of the business beyond their expert financial services.

Of course, everyone at Opus will be rooting for them but we wish the best of luck to all nominees.”

The Tech Hero Awards are hosted by The Inquirer, an online magazine covering all things tech from chips to software development, security to tablets and mobile phones.

There are 20 awards up for grabs in total and all those shortlisted will be invited to attend the event, as well as The Inquirer readers, for what will be an exciting and memorable event for the tech industry.
