On the 23rd March 2011, onrec held their 8th annual online recruitment awards, and celebrated the achievements of individuals and companies. The ceremony was held at The Grange, City in London, and was attended by over 300 people. The awards were a great success and enjoyed by all the participants.

The awards also hosted a charity auction in aid of Whizz Kidz, where prizes included rugby tickets, a case of fine wine and a rugby day out. Onrec also raffled 2x tickets to the Global Party. Cvwow.co.uk won the Newcomer of the Year award, Stephen Joell-Ireland, PR/Marketing Manager, commented, In just 10 months of trading we are so proud to see the teams hard work and determination recognised and rewarded by the Onrec awards. We were up against some great organisations and were genuinely surprised when our name was called out as the winner. The awards followed a half day trade conference held by Onrec to discuss the latest developments with employment legislation; as well as job fraud and the latest statistics from the industry.
