Overview

On 6 June in central London four inspirational speakers will come together to share their thoughts and ideas on the new `disruptive perspectives` that are shaping the future of business and why these will inevitably replace the old way of doing things.

One that is defined by an understanding of how science, nature, philosophy and psychology will integrate to become the new catalysts for innovation, greater creativity, increased performance and improved employee engagement.

On the morning we will address the key strands that underpin this shift, from the concept of humble leadership to more sustainable business models where systems thinking, fractal geometry, biomimicry and an understanding of the interconnectedness of all things can come together to help to shape the future for better business.

Wise, self-actualised leaders understand how non-linear connections between diverse elements can help create something new. How can you become adept at recognising patterns, spotting trends, making connections and discerning the big picture in this changed landscape?

How can you help your companies as well as your people to take advantage of the enormous potential to be found in these complex times? How can you leverage volatility, uncertainty and ambiguity to positive advantage?

'Challenging Coaching - Going beyond traditional coaching to face the FACTS' by John Blakey and Ian Day breaks the traditional mould to challenge both coaches and their clients to achieve courageous goals that sustainably transform bottom-line performance. John and Ian dare practitioners to move away from`cosy` coaching relationships to take a more direct approach that can unlock deeper potential in business leaders and their teams. The authors detail their unique FACTS coaching model, which provides a practical and pragmatic approach focusing on Feedback, Accountability, Courageous goals, Tension, and Systems Thinking. John Blakey will also be speaking at 5D Business: Conscious Wisdom for tomorrow’s leaders on 6 June, London.
