Centrepoint receives many hundreds of job applications each year, and the charity needed a system that would enable them to manage the recruitment process more effectively.
Cengiz Ali, Head of Human Resources for Centrepoint, said “We realised that a digital application process was needed in order to centralise the recruitment system and move away from a paper-based method. We wanted to get all the applications online with no more paper filing and no more attachments.”
In moving towards a modern process, Centrepoint’s new system will benefit candidates during their application process and the hiring managers during shortlisting. The organisation previously relied on reporting spreadsheets and candidate packs which had to be manually created and printed. The newly automated, online process will ensure that all aspects of the recruitment process will be more effective, from shortlisting to reporting, allowing the charity to recruit the right candidates more quickly and efficiently.
