Korn/Ferry International once again receives the title of the World's Number One Executive Search Firm, according to two US-based, leading industry organizations - Hunt Scanlon and Kennedy Information, publishers of Executive Search Review and Executive Recruiter News (ERN), respectively. The accolade was given to Korn/Ferry following annual surveys by the two leading trade organisations in the search industry, to determine domestic and global revenues, practice breakdowns and staffing numbers.
Analysts at Executive Search Review confirm Korn/Ferry's total revenues shot up 53 percent to $662 million, well surpassing the half billion dollar mark as a result of its acquisition of several boutique search firms combined with the global expansion of its Internet-based recruiting business, Futurestep.
According to ERN analysts, Korn/Ferry solidified its position in the marketplace and ranked number one as a result of its staggering 38 percent growth in search revenues to $576.5 million over last year.
