Manufacturing Industry On The Rise

According to the survey of 181 executive recruiters, the following industries will generate the most executive level jobs during the next three months:

Dropping out of the list of the ten fastest growing industries for executive job growth was the Energy industry, which was ranked 10th in April 2004.

ìDemand for Healthcare, Medical, and Financial Services executives has been growing all year - a trend thatís expected to continue as we head toward the Presidential election,î says Mark Anderson, President of ExecuNet. ìThe months ahead also look good for executives in the Manufacturing industry, as the job market in this sector is mounting an impressive comeback.î

The functions expected to be in greatest demand in the three months ahead are unchanged from April:

Current Ranking (April 2004 Ranking)

ìWhile these industries and functions are leading the employment marketís recovery, weíre seeing a steady stream of executive hiring almost across the board,î says Anderson. ìThe fastest growing industries and functions do represent the ëproverbial street lamp,í under which executives might want to focus their activities. We counsel executives everyday on how to take advantage of the marketís movements and these trends help show where the grass may be greener.î
