VacancyFinder.co.uk launches in UK

.

Following the launch of its sister company in Switzerland in January, VacancyFinder.co.uk has now launched in the UK.

VacancyFinder.co.uk identifies where the latest vacancies are appearing (and disappearing) on the websites of selected Corporate employers.

The aim of VacancyFinder.co.uk is not to produce the largest count of vacancies possible, but to provide qualified vacancies from targeted sites.

Whilst there are over 1.35m companies in the UK employing c19m staff - the top 16,470 companies (those with 100 or more employees) employ c12m employees - c1% of companiesí employ 60% of the staff.

These 16,470 companies are the initial target universe for VacancyFinder.co.uk. Since the middle of last year Researchers have been visiting the web sites of these companiesí to identify if they advertised vacancies on their sites, and how they are held. At present c30% are publishing vacancies on their own sites which equates to c4,500 target companies.

The information about the employerís website is loaded into a Scanning Tool which visits the target site daily to identify any changes from the previous day. Any changes are reviewed by an Editor (a real person) and any new jobs are manually entered into the VacancyFinder.co.uk system, defining the Job Category, Sub Category and Region ñ this personal review also avoids loading out of date jobs and allows the marking of vacancies where ìNo Agencyî is specified.

The information is accessed via the Internet and delivered in a user friendly searchable vacancy database ñ with the ability to search by Job Category, Sub Category, Region and Key Words ñ and currently c2% of Live Vacancies are changing every day.

Any jobs which are deleted from the employerís website are marked Inactive in the VacancyFinder.co.uk system, but they are still accessible to show the recruitment history of the company.

VacancyFinder.co.uk also has a link to Company House information about the Corporate employer ñ as background information ñ and this will evolve to include a Credit Check option.

The developments to VacancyFinder.co.uk include multiple e-mail alerting options - notifying when particular types of vacancies are published - and a VacancyMonitor service allowing the user to select individual or groups of companies to specifically track their activity on a daily basis.
