May 3, 2004 ñ The Human Capital Institute (HCI), a not-for-profit think tank and educator, announces the participation of Taleo (formerly Recruitsoft) as a founding sponsor. Taleo will fund research and development of the HCI Learning Tracks ìGlobal Talent Management,î ìAssessment, Selection and Hiring Strategies,î and ìContingent Workforce Management.î

ìProgressive organizations like Taleo and its focus on workforce logistics are vital partners for the success of HCI. We are excited and very pleased to have Taleoís support for these three critical learning areas and welcome Diane to our board,î says Allan Schweyer, Executive Director of HCI. ìTaleo was an ideal choice to sponsor these tracks because of its extensive involvement and experience in developing solutions for organizations concerned with advancing strategies in talent management.î

The three tracks each deal with optimizing how organizations acquire and manage talent ñ with the management tracks addressing specific workforce groups. A thought leadership panel, comprised of industry analysts and practitioners, will be assembled for each track to begin work in outlining deliverables.

We are pleased to work with the Human Capital Institute to help further advance the workforce logistics industry through employing our experience with many of the world’s leading companies in the field of staffing management, said Diane Pardee, senior vice president, marketing and communication, Taleo Corporation. I am very pleased to participate as a member of the Institute’s board and look forward to fulfilling its mission of transforming innovative thinking into measurable, real-world strategies that will assist their members in the areas of staffing management.

Additionally, Yves Lermusiaux, Founder and President of iLogos Research, an independent consulting division of Taleo, and Nathan Mondragon, Ph.D, Senior Industrial Psychologist for Taleo, will volunteer their time and expertise as Research Board members for HCI.
