the hotgroup plc have announced the appointment of a new senior executive,
Michele Sklar.
Michele brings with her a wealth of experience in both on-line and traditional recruitment. In 1983 she joined Blue Arrow as Area Manager where she was responsible for several branches in the London area. After 5 years with the company she left and joined Adecco as Area Manager; there she was promoted in quick succession to Regional Manager, then Senior Operations Manager and eventually Operations Director. Micheleís next move to Totaljobs.com in December 2000 was as Director of Response Management.
There, amongst other things, she was responsible for redesigning the candidate registration system, implementing a candidate tracking system and improving candidate search facilities.
Michele will have a broad spectrum of responsibilities. She will initially be responsible for the introduction of new processes and procedures for the groupís online division; sites of which include PlanetRecruit, JobSearch,
JobTrack and HotRecruit. Sheíll be working closely with the groupís technical development team, and one of her first projects will be to implement measures to further enhance the site experience for both jobseekers and clients. This will involve updating the registration and
search facilities across the groupís network of sites. The role will also include managing the account management team for the groupís online division.
