Telrocks new SMS based technology promises to speed up recruitment

.

SMS messaging specialist, Telrock Communications has introduced new technology using fixed to mobile text communications that will enable the recruitment industry to secure more appointments, more quickly. Telrockís technology can work as a standalone device or in conjunction with well known industry databases such as Bondadapt.

Commercial director at Telrock, Russell Robinson explains, The drawback of many SMS gateways on the market is that because they are sold primarily on a revenue share basis, they represent an off-the-shelf rather than customised solution. This is fine for standalone bulk SMS messaging, but applications specific to recruitment, require further development to work with back office systems. This is where Telrock can help.

Robinson added, There are unlimited possibilities for the recruitment sector to use the medium of SMS to relieve the burden of many repetitive time-consuming tasks and also helps to speed up the process of research and selection. For example, recruiters can send out job specs by text and receive almost instant responses from potential candidates.

Telrockís SMS solution is available in several options. The Flash RIA (Rich Internet Application) module is operated by the user through a standalone browser-based user interface that can be installed as a basic server configuration accessible across the corporate network or Internet. Because the application is browser-based, it can be fully administered and monitored centrally and eliminates any technical support issues associated with desktop installations.

Users can host the application in-house, or alternatively it can be managed remotely by Telrock. This is particularly suitable for companies that have sites spread nationally and internationally.

For users who need to integrate the sending and receiving of SMS messages within their existing e-mail communication software, Telrock has developed technology to support Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes or any other in-house application.

With low implementation costs, Telrock charges on a core licence model and further development is charged on a project basis. Using an agile development methodology known as XP (eXtreme Programming), Telrock software is delivered with a full suite of test code. This ensures application quality and enables additional development to proceed in the future with no risk to existing functionality.

Key features of Telrockís solution include:-
*Single server installation
*Centralised system control (set-up permission based users and groups)
*Traffic/audit reporting & analysis tools
*High-volume Inbound SMS Management (see below)
*High-volume outbound SMS Group Sending
*Location Based Services - íMobile Trackingí (see below)
*Import of contact lists from any database
*Conversation History (comparable with a standard e-mail inbox/outbox)
* Delivery receipts (notification of message being received by recipient)

Inbound SMS Management

Telrockís Text Centre solution is aimed at companies, including dedicated contact centres that need to provide a facility for managing inbound text messages. Telrock will provide an organisation with a ítext iní number which can then be promoted as an alternative means of communication. A consumer could then send an SMS with a certain support issue or required information to the Text Centre, rather than making a voice call.

Incoming consumer SMS requests are dynamically load balanced & routed to customer service personnel via their PCís inbox.
