Take to the air and make your bottom line soar!

Are you bored of all the jargon that management training courses usually involve? How would you like to be a fighter pilot for the day instead?

A new joint venture between Mission Excellence, providers of motivational management training seminars and keynote conference speakers and Ultimate High, an advanced flying training school, allow you to do just that while simultaneously gaining valuable business skills.

The idea behind Mission Excellence’s training programmes is that the fighter pilot’s mission cycle is a model for execution excellence from which the corporate world can learn valuable skills. In particular the programmes focus on leadership, teamwork, accountability and commitment. The programmes are run by a team made up of highly experienced fighter pilots and top business minds. Together they help the attendees acquire the skills that enable fighter pilots to regularly turn vision and strategy into reality and then show the participants how those skills can be applied to their own individual business needs.

The Internal Communications Manager at the Prudential comments on the experience: What differentiates this activity is the fact that there is an immediate benefit people actually learn something about briefing and delivering a plan in a way which inspires them to take it back to the office.

Ultimate High then turns this training into a reality. Management seminars and briefings over, the participants are divided into two teams who will battle against each other. Next its time to strap on the parachutes and take to the air! For 45 minutes, the teams are taught by a RAF instructor pilot how to use the controls and then how to fly basic aerobatics. These skills in place, its time to tail-chase with the other plane! To finish, the planes perform the formation loop.

Safely back on the ground, the performance is reviewed - how many gs did the teams manage to pull? What was the outcome of the tail-chasing? As one satisfied customer commented: ’From the excellent pre-event organisation right through to the flying itself, the whole experience was first class.
