Sterling commerce appoints Human Resources director for EMEA

Strategic HR appointment helps continue Sterling Commerceís commitment to deliver value-driven internal processes

Sterling Commerce, leading provider of business integration solutions, has appointed Vronique Bohle as Human Resources Director for the entire EMEA region. Vroniqueís main objective is to create added value from human resources for internal clients ñ Sterling Commerceís European staff ñ and also members of the European Board of Directors.

Vronique will be based in Sterling Commerceís Paris offices of La Dfense and joins the company from competitor organisation BEA, where she most recently held a similar HR position. She brings extensive experience to the role from her time as EMEA HR Director for IT software company Attachmate, which she joined in 2000.

Vronique Bohle said: ìI aim to work in partnership with both the employees and the board to further increase Sterling Commerceís presence in Europe. A key objective in my new role is to ensure all employees are encouraged to develop and apply their own creativity, innovation and skills to both individual and regional responsibilities to support Sterling Commerceís global ethics and values.î

Vronique has nine years experience working in human resources in the customer services sector. She held the position of Head of HR at Europcar International before moving industries in 1992 to become Head of HR for biomedical company Kontron Instrument. Following this, Vronique joined Olympus, the medical, scientific and consumer technology supplier, as HR Director.
