StepStone Solutions Continues to Build Momentum in Q2 With New Customers in Italy, Belgium and UK

20 New Sites Launched in the Quarter

In the second quarter of 2004, StepStone Solutions won four new customers and delivered 20 new online recruitment sites to its HireEnterprise and OneStep customers.

In Belgium, StepStone OneStep was chosen by the Europeís largest health club chain, Passage Fitness First, to power its online candidate relationships and recruitment processes. In Italy, the retail marketing agency in store s.r.l. also selected OneStep; the agency manages promotions for IT products in large retail outlets on behalf of top IT manufacturers, and will use OneStep to help reduce the cost of processing large volumes of CVs to recruit promoters. In little more than one year since its introduction, OneStep has been chosen by 21 customers, across Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Norway and Sweden.

In addition, during the quarter StepStone renewed contracts with a number of existing OneStep customers. D’Ieteren, the Volkswagen/Audi importer in Belgium, has renewed and extended its contract for a further 3 years. In Netherlands, WoonWerk, the trade organisation for the Home Furnishings sector, also renewed its contract for a period of 3 years.

StepStone also won new customers with the HireEnterprise recruiting solution. ARVAL PHH, Europeís leading fleet, fuel and accident management service, working with the HR outsourcer Hudson Global Resources, selected HireEnterprise to streamline its recruitment in UK and Ireland. StepStone also won a contract to implement HireEnterprise at a leading online retailer, through Obvious Solutions.

During the quarter, StepStoneís implementation teams delivered a total of 12 sites based on the HireEnterprise solution. These included 5 sites for Novare (3 in Swedish and 2 in English), 3 external and 1 internal site for Irish Life and Permanent, internal and external sites for PHH ARVAL, and an external site for the Institute of Healthcare Management. The OneStep product was implemented at Robert Bosch (Italy), TNT Express (Italy), ANBO (Netherlands), Cologne Airport (Germany), Carrefour (Belgium), FourStars (Italy), HR4U (Belgium) and Maiorana Maggiorino (Italy), with a further 5 customer sites due to go live shortly.

Commenting on this announcement, Matthew Parker, head of StepStoneís solutions business said, ìWe have a fast growing number of customers gaining the benefits of online recruitment through our solutions. Icopal in Norway was able to recruit for 40 hard-to-fill positions with its first campaign. In Belgium, DíIeteren has registered over 1600 candidates through their site. More and more organisations see that by adopting the right technology for their own recruitment sites, they can not only save costs but also deliver better recruitment results.î
